Welcome to Emory Naturopathic Clinic Ltd (referred to as “we”, “our”, or “the Clinic”). These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of our services, including in-person consultations, telehealth, products, and any other offerings (collectively, the “Services”).
By booking an appointment, visiting our clinic, using our website, or purchasing any Services or products, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
Our Services
Naturopathic assessments, consultations, and treatment plans.
Herbal, nutritional, lifestyle, and other naturopathic recommendations.
Referrals to other healthcare professionals as appropriate.
Sale of vitamins, supplements, and related products.
Telehealth or virtual consultations (where available).
Important Note
Naturopathic care is complementary to conventional medicine. Our clinicians do not diagnose or treat conditions outside the scope of their licensure and training. If you have a medical emergency, call your local emergency number.
Eligibility
You must be at least the legal age in your jurisdiction or have the consent of a parent/guardian where required.
You acknowledge that Services are provided by licensed, certified, or credentialed practitioners in accordance with applicable laws.
We reserve the right to refuse Service to anyone for any lawful reason, including safety concerns, non-compliance with these Terms, or those who misuse our Services.
Appointments and Cancellations
Scheduling: Appointments can be booked via our website, phone, or in person.
Cancellation: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the appointment to avoid a cancellation fee.
No-Show Policy: A no-show may incur a fee of up to half of the service fee.
Late Arrivals: If you arrive late, we may reschedule or limit the duration of the appointment at our discretion.
Fees and Payment
Consultation fees, follow-up fees, and any other charges will be disclosed at the time of booking.
Payment methods accepted: Private Pay.
Billing: You agree to pay all charges incurred in connection with your use of the Services.
Refunds: Our refund policy for products and services is as follows: Digital or consumable items are non-refundable.
Insurance: We do not bill third-party insurers unless specifically stated. If you have insurance coverage, verify whether the Service is eligible for reimbursement.
Products
All products are for personal use and intended to support health and well-being. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease.
Product information, including ingredients and dosages, is provided for educational purposes only. Do not exceed recommended dosages.
We do not guarantee the safety or efficacy of any product. Discontinue use if you experience adverse effects and seek medical advice.
Health Information and Privacy
You agree to provide accurate and complete health information to the best of your knowledge.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your personal data.
We may share information with other healthcare providers if necessary for your care, with your consent where required by law.
Consent and Medical Disclosures
Informed Consent: You acknowledge that you have been informed about the nature, benefits, risks, and alternatives to the proposed naturopathic care, integrative care, including aesthetic/skincare, dental, and whole health care.
Medical Records: You have the right to access your medical records in accordance with applicable laws. Requests for records may incur a fee.
Documentation: We may document consultations and treatment plans in your medical record.
Practitioner Disclosure and Qualifications
Our practitioners are licensed, certified, or credentialed as required by law. You may request information about the practitioner’s qualifications, certification, licensing, and areas of practice.
We may rotate clinicians, practitioners, or assign a different qualified professional to your care if necessary for safety or scheduling reasons.
Scope of Practice and Limitations
Naturopathic care may complement conventional medical treatment but is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment by a licensed physician or other qualified healthcare provider.
If we determine that your condition requires conventional medical evaluation or urgent care, we will advise seeking appropriate medical attention and may refer you to a suitable professional.
Safety, Risks, and Adverse Reactions
All treatments carry potential risks, benefits, and possible adverse reactions. You agree to discuss any changes in your health, medications, or symptoms with us.
If you experience a severe or life-threatening reaction, seek emergency medical help immediately.
Medical Cannabis, Supplements, and Interactions
If applicable, we provide guidance on supplements, herbal remedies, and, where legal, cannabis-based products. These may interact with medications or medical conditions. Disclosure of all current medications and health conditions is essential.
Privacy and Data Security
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information.
We may use aggregated or de-identified data for research, quality improvement, and regulatory reporting, where permitted by law.
You can exercise your rights under applicable data protection laws (e.g., access, correction, deletion) by contacting us.
Intellectual Property
All content on our website and in materials provided during Services is owned by or licensed to Emory Naturopathic Clinic Ltd.
No content may be reproduced, redistributed, or used for commercial purposes without our express written consent.

Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Emory Naturopathic Clinic and its affiliates, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, or losses resulting from your use of the Services, violation of these Terms, or breach of any law.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ghana.
Any disputes will be resolved through arbitration/mediation/court in Ghana, without regard to conflict of law principles.
You may have certain consumer protection rights that cannot be waived.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted on our website and, where applicable, you will be notified.
Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any service-specific terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Emory Naturopathic Clinic regarding the Services.
Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
